[ANSWERED] TV Show Pages need better organization

Postby Astronomeric on Thu May 13, 2010 4:44 am

I usually find it very difficult to find useful spoilers/information with the blog format for the pages. I check the LOST pages on DarkUfo daily, but for other pages like Fringe, Desperate Housewives, and other shows, it is not very intuitive to navigate and find spoilers.

For example, there might be some really juicy spoilers, but they get piled on by promos, "what are you watching tonight", etc, and get moved to the next page. Say I don't have much time and only feel like looking at the first page, the juicy stuff was pushed off, and I'm stuck with huge lists of spoilers for other shows from Kristen and a poll asking what I am watching tonight.

This can be very frustrating, and now I have been searching for other places to find my spoilers. The old "spoilerfix" format where it listed all the spoilers in text form and put a date next to it was much easier to find everything. I recommend making a "spoiler central" page for every show and include that link on the pre-existing page.

Or find another way to improve it, you people aren't stupid, but your presentation is so helter skelter it turns me off of the website.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback.

We've made some improvements to the homepage so that A) it loads quicker and B) You can see more posts before deciding if you want to view it.

We also have a new Chrome Extension
http://www.spoilertv.com/2010/07/announ ... hrome.html

This allows you to be alerted when the shows you decide have been updated.

Also remember you can use the menu to select the Show that you are interested in and all the relevant posts for that show will displayed quickly in list format.

Not to pick, but is it just me or has "This week's spotlight: Psych" been this weeks spotlight for more than just a week?

I am not sure when they are updated.. or by whom, but it just seems like it's been there for a while... :S

It's been nearly two weeks, I think Doctor Who was just over two weeks too. As a lot of the main shows we have are on hiatus at the moment we are allowing some of the other ones a longer spot, we will be changing to another show soon thou :D
