I've always thought that Locke being the ultimate villain and Jack being the ultimate hero would be an interesting endgame.

There are so many players and so many sides...I have no idea who is siding with who.

Hmmmm. So Christian is Jacobs enemy? Because he wanted Locke to go back and get everyone. So I guess when a dead person comes back to the island they are inhabited by Jacobs enemy. Furthermore. The ash around the cabin was to keep Jacobs enemy in and when it was broken he embodied Christian? And was able to just leave. Annnd. Now. NotLocke is all. NotLocke.
Also.

But, oh man... Locke. He really died a broken old man who had been manipulated since Day 1 by the Smoke Monster (or Jacob's nemesis, who may be one and the same as Smokie or not). That's a major bummer, and I hope Locke is still in there, somewhere. Erika from LongLiveLocke.com is gonna be so broken-hearted. :-(

We don't know for sure that anyone died ... but right now, the way I feel, if EM does not return next year, I am seriously considering being done with this show.

The writing tonight was pathetic. Kate suddenly just changes her mind to help Jack like it was nothing?

And Jin? No thought to your baby never being born? Not even an opinion?

And don't get me started on the on the lack of communication between Jack and Kate like Sawyer suggested or between him and Juliet. He just gave up trying to talk to her when it was obvious he wanted to be with her? She changed her mind too quickly. Over one look?

It was pathetic.

That was so freaking awesome. But here's the thing, I don't think Juliet is dead. If she's dead, they're all dead. You cannot detonate a hydrogen bomb and not kill everyone. They'd all be dead and then it'd be a moot point.

I am so upset that we'll have to wait 7 freakin' months to find out what happened. :x

I'm not 100% sure Jughead WAS detonated. That white light could just have been another time-flash, sending the left-behinders back to the present.

What did Richard say when he answered the "shadow of the statue" question?

Major credit to anyone who called that, seriously. I mean Ilana had a conversation with 'Locke' on the beach. Did she know that he was in the box??

Locke in that guise won't be Locke though. Sure, the same great acting talent would be retained but an equally great character would be sacrificed to create an endgame villain.

That's funny, because for the first time, I'm feeling like we have a slightly clearer sense of the sides. Just last week, I was like, "I don't know who to root for!" Now at least I feel like I like[d] Jacob, sort of...

I'm a little sad that Locke is no longer Locke, and now seems to be evil. But it makes me feel better that at least he's not the REAL Locke, still being manipulated by everyone.

I wonder about Widmore, now, as someone above mentioned....

Okay, so there are a lot of players. *sigh.*

I have yet to see a mention of the answer Richard gave to what lies in the shadow of the statue. Anyone know the translation?

HURLEY: Dude, that beer's been sitting there since before Rocky III, maybe even II. It's probably poison by now.
SAWYER: Skeletor seems to like it. Bottoms up.
HURLEY: That's not cool, dude. That guy had a mom, a family, and friends. Oh, and a name. It's Roger Workman.
SAWYER: It's Work Man, you blockhead. That's his job. He was a DHARMA janitor.
HURLEY: Yeah, well you should still respect the dead.

A cheap cliffhanger (really, erasing 5 years? I don't buy it. But yeah, that's cool for a cliffhanger, it's like the biggest cliffhanger ever possible ahaha. Cuse & Lindelof just couldn't resisted) for an epic and awesome episode. Yeah the love parts was pathetic but like it always was. The "death" of Juliet was predicted (I was sure of that) but the reaction of Sawyer was really touching. What happened in 2007 is just mindblowing. So, how's everyone is going to get a reunion?

I liked most of it. Finding Charlie's ring. Juliet owning that guy on the sub.

I disliked the whole Juliet part with the chains.
Absolutely disgusted and hated it. I am a Juliet fan but I have to admit if that was anyone else I would've hated it. Even if that was Kate and Jack was the one holding on. The I love yous and how much Sawyer didn't want to let go.

I did like at the end that she was trying to do the bomb but if she doesn't succeed she dies in a hole alone. Thats awful. :[ And I could see the writers doing that after all that. Blah.

I'm the first one to go its only a show, don't stress it. But seriously? Awful. ;[

Juliet & Sawyer spooning is love.

Yeah, I can't get over how flighty and unbelievable the changes in motivation were tonight. Juliet, Kate and Sawyer were just all over the place. Both Sun and Jin have made mind-boggling decisions in regard to their child this season. Sun abandoned her when she came back to the Island without a word, and now Jin took action to make sure she never existed! How can the writers stand by this at all? I've never seen this poor writing on Lost. It's a shame, because the rest was so good. I'd love to see someone take Darlton to task for this, but they'll probably just be all smarmy and blow off the question.

Granted. It just seemed connected. And the flashes haven't occurred without a reason, I just thought maybe the bomb was it. I guess we'll have to wait a few months to know!
