Lostpedia has a good job on the explanation & the bells and whistles, but I have to wonder out loud if there will be more? We're getting close the 012109 (Yippee!!!!!), but will this new site grow along side the Show, or are they gonna let it wither and fade into the Internet nether regions.

It just seems like it has been sorta half-done. We've all scene the hidden images in the seating chart, and the Guam references, and the Hex in the coding. But are they gonna throw us Lost-philes a bigger bone? Where is the 'persiphone', the hidden video snippets, the expanding of the back stories, the references to other psuedo sites?

And the Promo code is: 112114111109111 (ASCII for PROMO)

Ugh....

It wouldn't surprise me if they continue this at least a bit through the beginning of the season. They've put just enough work into it and started it late enough in the off-season that I can't see them just dropping it entirely -- especially when the early info kept referring to Ajira starting up on January 21st.

At least, I hope that's the case.

hi everyone
i was working on the "unsolved" things about the ajira site for a while(if they are unsolved)
they were 'for me' sentences "pineapples in hawaii" and "supersonic is commercial"...
i havent seen any meaningfull explanation on these two...
therefore i have tried both sentences together as an anagram...
since there are soooo many letters, i got soooo many "clue of" possibilities....
and since english is not my native language, i think it is not easy to solve it for me...
if you try these to using the program linked below:
http://www.anagramgenius.com/ag.html
you may see how funny it is...
one of the "word series" i have found was
"oceanic airlines com"...
of course this shold be completed by other letters of the sentences...
but i have seen http://oceanicairlines.com/ site which is empty...
it seems it modified 17.11.2008...
is this site belonging to a previous arg or is it new...
can you please help me about this...
goood luck

Oceanic Airlines has only two official sites as far as I know: oceanic-air.com and flyoceanicair.com. Neither are canon.
Now I'm noticing... they kept the tagline from 2005 in FIND815: "Taking you places you never imagined." How's that for continuity? :w00t:

"Pineapples in Hawaii" and "Supersonic is commercial ..." have been solved. Check Lostpedia, I think they have an explanation for them there.

I think we should wait until 21st, I'm sure something will pop up. They mention this date a lot, after all.

Did the site update? I don't remember seeing the "Swimming with Sharks" or "Excavation: Ruins" on Adventures page before....

I noticed earlier that there was some discussion regarding the Ð (which is made on a windows computer by holding alt and on the number pad typing 0208). I have posted on unFiction regarding this, you can find it here.
I've also posted an early summary of the things I found on the site and a post about the seating chart, which includes links to the pictures flashed in the left hand window.

MODS: if you'd prefer that I just reformulate my posts from unFiction to make a new post here, no problem, I'll just edit this post ;)

Couldn't find much more on Lostpedia than what has been there but, "Pineapples in Hawaii", Pineapples are not native to Hawaii, they were brough there from Brazil/Paraguay but many people think they are native. Could it be a reference to the idea that we may assume that something is native to the island, but was actually transplanted there from somewhere else...

Although the "Supersonic is Commercial" has got me scratching my head though... :S

Other than a possible reference to the future or back to the time when the Concorde was still flying commercially (1976-2003)?!?!?

nice, was this Sayid's head passing to the gate? The hair looked familiar. :D
Wes Janson, the galaxy's least serious person once said to me. 'The real sign that someone has become a fanatic, is that he completely loses his sense of humor(...)'. Jacen, you've lost your sense of humor about everything. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
